Rainbow Power

WALT estimate and measure in cm and mEstimate means take a guess. When we estimate we use information we already know then try to guess an answer as close as possible to the correct measurement.

After we estimate we need to check to see if our question is correct.

To learn this we flew our planes.
My estimation was 10cm and 20m.
My plane actually flew 5m and 72cm.
My estimation was wrong.

We are learning the skills of Rugby League.

Today the coach taught us how to:

Goose step which is skipping.

Score a try with two hand and don't let the ball drop.

Spin backwards.

Side step which is pressing your right or left foot down and the other foot up.

Night market

The Night Market

On Saturday the 9th of August I went to the night market with my mum and dad to have fun and eat. The night market was under a car park.

I was wearing sandals, an orange t-shirt with a pink jumper and black tights. In my hands was a pink wallet with a lot of money inside. First my dad was looking for the night market. I felt bored, so I played on my pink tablet. I was playing minion rush, my favourite game.  Then my dad found the market. I hadn't even got on the game yet.

When we got inside the market, it was messy, noisy and crowded. I didn't imagine it being so messy. Then we went to get my dad and I food. I was going to share my food with my mum, thats why she didn't get her food. My dad and I got lamb and rice, yummy.

When we started walking back to the exit we meet up with my dad's friend from church. My mum and I were waiting for ages. After my dad stop talking to his friend we had to go home. I was so tired.

It was a long drive home. When we got home I ate the food we got from the night market. It was delicious. Next I started to watch Every Witch Way, there was a lot of episodes.  When I finished watching TV I had to go sleep so I can wake up for another lovely day.

On that wonderful night I felt so happy.

Have you ever been to a wedding?

Two years ago I went to a wedding with my family. It was at church and it was a beautiful day.

When we got inside the church,I felt nervous. First my auntie got married, almost everyone saw the flower girls. The flower girls were my cousins Summer and April, but Summers little sister Maddy was picking the petals from the ground and putting them in her pocket. It was hilarious.

Then Celeste, Carlos, Chloe and I said a speech.  Everyone was clapping.,I didn’t know about anyone else but my head was about to burst,I felt very, very nervous. More nervous than my cousins, but I was loud and proud. My speech was about how special the wedding was.  

After we finished saying our speech’s we went to a restaurant. It was a long drive to the restaurant. When we got inside we ate some delicious food and some candy. It was yummy and smelt yummy.

Then we saw some awesome dances, then we saw my auntie and her husband dance.Suddenly my heart began to pump because me,Celeste,Summer and Chloe were going to do the hula. After everyone finished eating we did the hula. We had to shake and swing side to side. After we finished doing the hula we all went home.

On that day I felt very, very happy.

How to make a pop-up card

Paper/Color
Sizzors
Ruler
Pencil
Glue

Fold your paper in half.
Cut in the middle of the paper.
Take one half and fold it again,do the same with the other half.
Next with a ruler draw two lines from the fold.
After you have your two lines cut the lines with your sizzors.
Then open your card and push your chair in.
Take your other half and glue it to the back of the cut half.
Make a heart shape and glue it to your chair.
Last decorate your card and write your message.

How to make a delicious jam and butter on toast

Materials:

Toaster

Bread

Plate

Butter knife

Jam

Butter

Method:

Plug the toaster in the wall.

Put two pieces of  bread in the toaster.

Push the lever on the side of the toaster and wait for the toast to pop up.The color of the toast should be the color brown.

Then put the toast on a plate.

Next take a scoop of butter and spread it all around your toast using the butter knife,

Do the same with the jam.

Finally enjoy your remarkable jam and butter toast. It should taste delicious.
