I hope I will be ready to present my sculpture in week five!

On Thursday the 11th of August, it was a sunny day. After lunch we had an art lesson with Salome. We continued making our objects for the presentation of the sport that we have chosen from the previous lesson.

First, we all had our brain food. I ate a small, red and delicious apple.

After we ate, we continued making the objects.I chose bowling because it was simple to make. I only made two bowling pins because there were only two bottles. I used two milk bottles and I used a shot cup to make the top shape of the pin.

Next,I went to help one of my classmates. I helped my friend Rosary because she needed me to hold her golf stick for her so that she could paint the bottom of it. She painted it black.

Later on, we had to clean up the whole classroom because our classroom had so much rubbish on the ground. We all had to pick up 15 pieces of rubbish.

While I was picking up the rubbish, I made a kite but it didn't really look like it because I poked a small hole inside a plastic cup to attach the string I found. Then I grabbed some tape and placed a feather on the plastic cup. After that, I got a toothpick and taped it on the string.

After our class was clean and tidy, we all said a little prayer to ourselves because we took a long time to clean up the classroom. Eventually we were ready to go home.

It was the best day ever because I got to help out my friend and I made a small kite to play with when it is windy. I hope I will be ready to present my sculpture in week five.

Learning Intention: We are learning to use descriptive language in our recount.

Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I use appropriate adjectives to describe the art lesson that we had on Thursday.
